Tax Deduction for Education
Many educational expenses are considered tax deductible. The U.S.
government may allow certain education expenses incurred to maintain
or improve skills, as a condition
of employment, job status, or compensation as tax deductible. Consult
your tax advisor to determine if your educational expenses can be used
to your tax advantage.
Madison's Referral Program
Students and alumni will receive a
$100 tuition voucher for referring friends or co-workers to Madison
University.
A verification form (supplied by the University) must be completed and
signed by both parties in order to initiate the issuance of a tuition
voucher. The referred student must be enrolled for sixty (60) days
prior to the issuance
of a voucher. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
Re-Enrollment Scholarship*
Madison University alumni who have completed their graduation
requirements may seek admission to another degree program offered by
the University and receive a $300 tuition scholarship. The
scholarship will be applied to the students second degree program.
* May not be used in conjunction with other tuition scholarship
programs.
Refund Policy
Students who withdraw from the University must give written notice,
sent certified mail, stating the reason for withdrawal. If a
student withdraws from a degree program within thirty (30) days of the
enrollment date, a tuition refund minus a processing fee of $300 will
be granted. No refund will be granted if the student’s request for
withdrawal is received more than 30 days after the enrollment date.
The enrollment date is the date the student’s registration is received
and processed by the registrar’s office.
